Dog Separation Anxiety: Signs, Causes and Training Plan

Separation anxiety is distress a dog feels when left alone, shown by barking, howling, destruction near exits, accidents or escape attempts that happen only in your absence. Treat it with very gradual practice absences short enough that your dog stays relaxed, avoid long absences while you train, make departures boring, and involve your veterinarian, since some dogs need medical support.
